Bio
Over his last thirteen years with Corporate Property Dispositions, Senior Vice President Keith Valentine has sold or leased over $600 million of retail and other commercial property in multiple states. Prior to joining CPD, he served for over five years at The Home Depot as the national real estate manager for excess properties. He was responsible for co-anchor development, outparcels, and disposition of former Home Depot stores and surplus land parcels. Keith was also responsible for Expo (a former Home Depot concept) adjacencies and the sale and leasing of former office and warehouse spaces. Other disposition clients have included Discount Tire, Publix, Circuit City, and Bassett Furniture. Projects leased or sold have included Walmart, BJ’s Wholesale, Bon Ton Stores, Target, Nordstrom Rack, Staples, LA Fitness, Burlington Coat, Garden Ridge, Best Buy and more. Many of these properties were sold or leased to several freestanding restaurants, banks and automotive groups. Prior to joining Home Depot, Keith worked for nearly 20 years in retail brokerage, sales and management. As senior vice president at CBRE, Keith directed the retail operations of 18 Eastern offices. He also established a property disposition program for CBRE on a multi-state basis. Keith’s extensive background includes retail and investment sales, business development, and the creation of retailer accounts on a multi-state basis. He has prior leadership experience selecting project teams and directing 65 retail brokers in various cities.
Education
Keith earned his MBA in marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University.
