Bio
With a combined total of 50 years of North Shore living, Kathryn and her business partner Kelly are experts in the area. From Glencoe down to Evanston, she has the North Shore covered from top to bottom. She went through the North Shore school district, and now her children - two to teenagers - follow suit. This, in addition to her active involvement in the community, gives them unique perspectives and solid relationships in the area.
Proud to offer a turnkey solution to real estate, her corporate backgrounds taught them to understand the value of customer service, identify what clients need, and instill in them the importance of listening and creating solutions. The Mangel Team can take clients from A to Z in every real estate transaction and offers 24/7 availability. Before real estate, Kathryn worked for IBM, which developed her professional attitude and shaped who she is as a realtor today.
Kathryn and her business partner Kelly first met while playing sports together in Wilmette, and their competitive drive fuels them to do their best when it comes to serving clients. Both Kathryn and Kelly were independently named "Rookie of the Year" in their first years in real estate and have consistently ranked as top agents ever since. Down to Earth and easy to work with, Kathryn sources homes for high-level CEOs, young families just getting started, empty nesters, rental seekers, and everyone in between.
Kathryn can adapt to whatever her clients need, and the team mentality means no question goes unanswered. She has the skills and solutions to work with every client, whether they want to buy, sell, relocate, or rent. Kathryn has streamlined her business model to provide the best possible customer service. She is well known in the North Shore and has a great relationship with other agents and everyone else who assists in the real estate process.
Currently, Kathryn lives in Winnetka with her husband and three children. She enjoys being with her family and encouraging her children's activities and sporting events in her free time. She also has a passion for helping the community. Most recently, Kathryn chaired the Botanic Garden's Harvest Ball and the Joseph Sears School JK-8th Grade Whole School Benefit in 2011.
