A veteran real estate professional, Karen has been licensed for 22 years listing & selling residential and commercial real estate throughout the state of Florida. Closing more than $200 million, Karen’s experience has involved listing and selling new construction communities, land development, distressed properties, and high-end resales of single-family homes & condos.
Karen approaches her real estate career with the advantage of her diverse background in business & marketing. Having held executive positions in private and public companies, she is known for being a top negotiator, a closer, and an “out of the box” thinker.
Because of Karen's extensive network of investors and sellers not wishing to be on the MLS, she often pairs buyers and sellers for "off-market" properties and closes sales not showing on the MLS system. Karen also works throughout the state of Florida, often negotiating and selling in South Florida.
Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of North Carolina (her home state) and she is a member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, Opera Orlando – Development Committee, Orlando Regional Realtors Association (ORRA), Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Karen enjoys world travel (25 countries on 5 continents & counting), gourmet cooking, entertaining, and the fine arts, including opera, museums, and live theater. Her favorite thing in life is spending time with her Orlando family including being “NANA” to her two young granddaughters.
