I have been in the business for over 17 years now, working solely with my family's locally owned and operated company. I have been very blessed to grow up at the Lake of the Ozarks and be highly involved in my community. I have served my local Real Estate Board in every capacity, serving as President in 2018. I have served the Missouri REALTORS state association for over 15 years, currently serving as a State Director, and I have even been involved with the National Association of REALTORS, currently serving as a National Director.
Starting in in 2007, it was quite a struggle to learn the business, as it was the start to what many have referred to as the "Great Recession". It was quite the education process, to say the least. As time has gone on, and the economy has improved, I have learned that everything I learned yesterday, was only as good as yesterday was. Every day is a new learning experience. As such, I am always reading, taking classes and learning all that I can about the business. I consider myself to be a "true professional".
What I truly love about my business are the people that I get to meet, who become my friends. I have been so fortunate to meet so many people that I have been able to connect with on many different levels. The friendships are so much more than the money that I earn. I believe that helping people and connecting with them is the most important part of this job. Protecting my clients and guiding them through the process, that is what I am here for. My only job is to add value to your transaction!
In the past 5 years, I have been fortunate enough to facilitate over 160 different transactions, totaling almost 70 million in sales. This means that I have the experience. I have helped many families purchase their first home, their first lake home, and even to liquidate their family's lake properties after they are done with them. I know my market, and I only work in my market. I never represent people in an area that I am not 100% familiar with and know all the "ins & outs" of. The paycheck never comes before the client.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have an amazing wife, and the most wonderful 7 year old daughter that a guy could ask for. The blessings that God has given me are immeasurable. And when I am not with them or at work, I am the President of the Lake of the Ozarks Soccer Association here at the Lake, giving over 700 kids the opportunity to play soccer every year. And yes, I was on HGTV's Lakefront Empire Reality Show. If you watched, I hope you found some joy in the show.
