Julie Harris has a long professional background in marketing, video production, content creation, branding, television, events, and theater. She is passionate about storytelling— its ability to inspire, motivate people to take action, and bring the unimaginable to life. She attained a master’s degree in real estate development, leading her to make a transition into commercial real estate where she is able to apply her marketing and storytelling skills to real estate leasing. Julie works alongside her partner, Jennifer Hill. They have a combined experience of over 20 years and been working together for over four years. They go by the name J2 and regularly think outside the box when it comes to leasing up space. Together, they focus on landlord representation and specialize in ground up development and placemaking. The duo is excited to join Locate to help developers meet the financial goals of their project while also creating a unique and sustainable place that provides value to the communities they serve. Julie and Jen are looking forward to leveraging Locate’s mobile data to enhance their ability to tell data driven stories. Armed with the tools necessary to understand consumers even better than before, the two have already hit the ground running and look forward to announcing some exciting projects. Prior to working in commercial real estate, Julie had a career in television. She worked as a production manager and a post-production coordinator for TLC where she had the opportunity to work on shows like, Trading Spaces, A Baby Story, A Dating Story and Extreme Makeover. She also worked as an event planner and had the opportunity to plan and execute an Oprah Winfrey event. As an alumni board member for Arizona State University’s Master of Real Estate Development (ASU MRED), Julie created and chaired a signature fundraising event that raised over 50,000 in its first year. Julie holds a Master’s in Corporate and Public Communication from Monmouth University and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University. In her free time, Julie enjoys skiing and yoga. Her family is the inspiration for everything she does.
