Bio
Julia joined MCREG in August of 2013 and has been a licensed realtor since 2005. She has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, with an emphasis in the management and leasing of retail space. Her expertise is in tenant recruitment and lease negotiation, and she is known for her networking and relationship-building skills. She has a strong track record of matching the right tenant with the right property, whether that is an enclosed shopping mall, a strip center, or a small retail plaza. At Mericle, Julia focuses on local, regional, and national retailers interested in growing throughout Mericle’s 20 Pennsylvania counties. Prior to joining Mericle, Julia worked for Acadia Realty Trust of White Plains, New York, as a regional property manager and a leasing representative. Her variety of duties at Acadia included managing 15 retail shopping centers in Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Southern New Jersey–Mid Atlantic regions and coordinating tenant and landlord construction. She also negotiated numerous new leases and extensions and coordinated tenant expansions. She is a member of TCN Worldwide—an international network of real estate brokers—and the Tri-state Commercial Industrial Association of Realtors®. She is also affiliated with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Julia is a graduate of Lackawanna Junior College and has completed courses at Penn State University and ICSC’s “University of Shopping Centers.” She is a longtime volunteer for Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge in Dallas, Pa., and has been instrumental in elevating the no-kill shelter’s profile to the general public, which has helped recruit volunteers and raise critical funding for supplies and housing for the animals.
