Bio
Juan Roberto DeAngulo is Managing Partner and Co-founder of Elion Partners, and a voting member of the firm's Investment and Asset Management Committees. Juan is responsible for the firm's corporate development, acquisitions, dispositions, and the firm's financial department. He has provided leadership in establishing an institutional-grade platform while sourcing some of the firm's major acquisitions, such as Ridgeport Logistics Center in Greater Chicago, IL, and CityPlace in Woodbury, MN. Previously, Juan served as Managing Director of Transwestern Investment Management, where he oversaw the complete cycle of portfolio management and participated in the launch of a billion-dollar equity investment program for a major U.S. institutional investor. During his time at Transwestern, he secured capital commitments from Latin American pension funds and high-net-worth individuals for a co-mingled fund focused on U.S. commercial real estate investments. Juan serves a member of Harvard University's Alumni Real Estate Board, which was established to foster and enhance the study of real estate across the University. He also serves on the Board and Loan Committee of Wessex Corp. in Chicago, an organization dedicated to promoting commercial property ownership for small business owners. Juan earned his post graduate from Harvard University's School of Design by completing the Advanced Management Development Program. He also earned his Master of Business Administration from Regent University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors from East Tennessee State University.
