Bio
Mr. Cueto joined Rialto in 2011 and currently serves as Managing Director of the Real Estate Group at Rialto Capital Advisors, LLC with leadership of the United States and Puerto Rico. Mr. Cueto has 20 years of experience in the real estate field. He is currently responsible for a portfolio of real estate assets consisting of direct investments, joint ventures, non-performing loan REO and CMBS REO (as part of Rialto Capital’s Special Servicing platform).
Prior to joining Rialto Capital, Mr. Cueto was the Executive Director of American Realty Capital, in Miami, Florida, with responsibility for asset management and day-to-day operations of ARC’s portfolio of real estate investment projects. Prior to that, Mr. Cueto’s endeavors focused on public sector planning, economic development and commercial asset management as Director of Planning and Development for the Miami Parking Authority, handling all capital construction and real estate asset management functions; and as Property Development Supervisor for Miami-Dade Transit, responsible for managing mixed-use, transit-oriented development (TOD) projects in conjunction with the private sector.
Mr. Cueto graduated from Florida International University with a B.B.A. in Finance and International Business. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Financial Training at Miami-Dade College and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
