In 2000, Ms. Fickett broke ground on the executive suite facility that stands today. Ms. Fickett is personally invested in the success of the member’s business and the services offered to them. Ms. Fickett is onsite and available to FC members and their clients to ensure the highest quality service, the latest reliable technology, and luxury they have come to expect from First Choice.
For over 30 years, Joy Fickett has been a successful entrepreneur, business owner, and commercial real estate developer/owner. Her vast experience in these areas and her visionary approach make her a leader in the Instant and Virtual Office world.
In 1982, Ms. Fickett started First Choice Personnel, an administrative and executive staffing firm. In 1999, Ms. Fickett began looking for a new business to start and chose the instant office industry as her new venture. In 2000, she built First Choice Executive Suites to offer the amenities of a major corporation with a small firm feel and personal touch and a home for her growing Staffing Firm.
Ms. Fickett successfully built First Choice Personnel to a 2.5 million dollar staffing firm and sold the company in 2006. Even after selling the staffing agency, she has stayed on at First Choice Executive Suites to ensure that the tenants receive the level of luxury service they have come to expect.
She is a member of the National Board of Realtors. Her involvement with Rotary includes past chapter president, District Governors’ Assistant, Chair of the Gift of Life Program (a program that provides lifesaving open heart surgery to children from 3rd world countries). She has been a board member or other organizations including, the Midland Foundation, and founding Chapter Board member for The American Heart Association.
Joy is the mother of 2 loving children and a lucky grandmother to 5 beautiful grandchildren.
