Joshua is an industry veteran, born and raised in Columbus, OH, with well over a decades' experience in Commercial Real Estate, entrepreneurship, community education, and business development.
Joshua pivoted out of the retail banking sector in early 2012 to begin his Real Estate career with New Life Properties, where he would co-manage a 1,000-unit apartment complex as his first successful endeavor in the industry. He transitioned to OV Management in late 2013 and soon became responsible for overseeing the operations of a $70 million portfolio of Retail, Office, and Multifamily properties, in addition to a staff of 22 Management, Leasing, and Maintenance personnel. During this time, he honed his business acumen, knack for operational efficiency, love for professional development, and, most importantly, he personally executed on the steps that make an investment portfolio function and thrive. Joshua remained with OV Management for eight years before joining Alterra Real Estate Advisors in 2021 as a Sr. Commercial Property Manager and taking charge in his current role as a CRE Investment & Leasing Advisor.
Joshua now dedicates his knowledge and expertise to advise on Market Conditions, Site-Selection, Investment Analysis, Property Acquisitions, Asset Management, Commercial Leasing, Property Dispositions, and general Business Development.
His years of experience in Property Management have provided Joshua with deep, meaningful insights and a unique insider perspective that is tough to match. He works closely with Sellers, Landlords, Buyers, and Tenants to understand their goals, create individualized strategies, and facilitate the Sale or Leasing of Office, Industrial, Retail, and Multifamily properties.
Outside of Real Estate, Joshua has started, owned, and operated two local businesses , Legacy Moving Columbus and Legacy Multi-Service, a household goods moving company and a painting company, respectively. He quickly scaled the businesses and oversaw management personnel for eight years until the pandemic led him to shutter operations in 2021.
Joshua has also spent time consulting for local small businesses and performing weddings in OH and FL as an Officiant. He currently sits on two Advisory Boards and serves on the CABA Board of Directors.

As a CRE Advisor and Broker, I make it my mission to help business owners and investors alike nurture their companies, expand their visions, and grow their aspiring empires. While I offer my expertise and extensive knowledge base to Sellers, Buyers, Tenants, and Landlords across the board, I get most of my personal fulfillment by partnering with local business owners and growing investors to take the weight of the often nuanced leasing and commonly stressful purchase process off their shoulders. My goal is keeping your CRE experience simplified, without cruising past often overlooked benefits and important considerations that will help ensure your company or portfolio remains healthy, profitable, and protected.
9 times out of 10, walking in without a dedicated CRE pro in your corner uneccisarily leaves incentives on the table; further costing you precious time, money, and mental bandwidth that could be better applied elsewhere in your business and on your family. My main vocation may be in Real Estate Investments and Leasing, but I have acquired an ungodly amount of knowledge and fostered deep connections to effectively assist in just about any area of your business. I can advise on, or point you in the right direction for, construction, accounting, marketing, insurance, labor, development, legal, operations, and everything in between. After growing up on the westside of Columbus, I've been a Clintoville resident for 12+ years now and love this community and the people in it. As a former Member of the CABA Board and active Member of the South-Western City Schools Career Advisory Board, I believe in the, "it takes a village", mentality. I have been fortunate to meet, work with, and partner with a ton of amazing people and inspiring community leaders, not only in my real estate endeavors, but in many different walks of life.
Between my time in community finance, growing my former moving company, serving on several non-profit and educational boards, overseeing commercial and residential property portfolios -- such as Clintonville's historic Olentangy Village Shoppes and Apartments -- and working with busineses and investors to solidify their legacies, I have seen and learned more than I sometimes care to remember.
