Josh Prettyman serves as a managing director of hospitality & multifamily capital markets in eXp's rapidly expanding commercial arm. An nine-year corporate real estate professional, Mr. Prettyman has substantial expertise in commercial real estate, including agency representation in hospitality and multi-family products. A licensed real estate salesperson in Utah, Idaho, Nebraska, North Carolina, Iowa, and Maine, Mr. Prettyman excels at maximizing returns for his clients, both on the acquisition and disposition side of transactions. His large and ever-expanding clientele allows him to outperform his competition and service a greater number of clients throughout the United States every year. In 2018, Mr. Prettyman was invited to attend Newmark Knight Frank’s exclusive Rising Stars event, and he has maintained his trajectory toward becoming a top performer among NKF’s more than 16,000 employees. Mr. Prettyman started his career in commercial real estate at Marcus & Millichap, SLC and after 3 years moved over to Newmark Knight Frank for another 5 years. He worked with clients and hotel properties that ranged from economy to upper-upscale tier and were spread across a number of franchise groups, including Best Western, Carlson Rezidor, Choice, G6, Hilton, IHG, La Quinta, Marriott, and Wyndham. Mr. Prettyman received Marcus & Millichap’s Rookie of the Year award in 2017 and Pacesetter award in 2016.
