Josh Markiewicz advises local, national and international companies and property owners on developing and executing their long-term strategic real estate plans. His market intelligence and relevant experience coupled with his superior relationships and best-in-class service provide clients with unmatched and effective results. Josh has served as a trusted advisor to a wide variety of companies including NVIDIA, Intel, Regency Multifamily, Gartner, Kroger, Strata Decision Technology, the University of Illinois, Synchrony Financial, Morgan Stanley, Aetna, Carle Hospital, Christie Clinic, Jimmy John’s, and Moose International. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty, Josh worked at Colliers International (formerly Inland Companies) and in the corporate office of Jimmy John’s; one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant chains. This experience on both the tenant and brokerage side has provided Josh with a 360-degree perspective to the real estate process. Additionally, Josh served honorably as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces, deploying to Afghanistan and an undisclosed location in Southern Asia in support of Operating Enduring Freedom. His unique skill set, leadership ability and outside-the-box thinking brings a substantial amount of efficiency and structure to the commercial real estate domain. Josh is the Co-Founder of CAMPMACKALL, an organization that connects post-9/11 military Veterans attending the University of Illinois with local business and community leaders through mentorships, internships and career opportunities.
Education
Josh graduated magna cum laude from the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a certificate in real estate.
