Joshua Jandris is the Senior Managing Director Investments of the Institutional Property Advisors’ (IPA) Seniors Housing Group and Marcus & Millichap’s National Seniors Housing Group. Mr. Jandris has 11 years of real estate experience specializing in seniors housing and long-term care facility investment sales. Since 2010, he and his team have closed $3 billion in seniors housing transactions across 32 states, representing private investors, institutional clients, and seniors housing operators in the disposition of seniors housing facilities and portfolios. Mr. Jandris is an industry leader in county-owned nursing home transactions, with a market share over 95 percent. In 2016, Mr. Jandris and his team closed on the sale of the largest privately owned nursing home portfolio nationwide since 2012 (sale price over $500 million), the largest stand-alone skilled nursing facility transaction in history at $110 million, and closed over $1 billion in overall sales of seniors housing and long-term care assets.
Since joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Jandris has earned five Sales Recognition Awards, five National Achievement Awards, three Chairman’s Club awards, and Marcus & Millichap’s esteemed Chairman’s Circle of Excellence award, which is the firm’s highest-level sales award. In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Jandris was the No. 1 ranked seniors housing agent and the No. 1 ranked agent across Marcus & Millichap’s three Chicago offices. In October of 2016, Mr. Jandris was featured in Real Estate Forum as one of the 50 best-in-class commercial real estate executives under the age of 40 in the country. Mr. Jandris was named a “Star to Watch” in the March 2017 issue of Commercial Property Executive, featuring some of the commercial real estate industry’s top young talent. In the last five years, Mr. Jandris has become one of the leading agents industry wide in terms of gross revenue and transaction volume. His team has grown exponentially and their output has more than doubled every year for the last three years. Jandris received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Iowa.
