Josh Devin, Vice President of Acquisitions & Dispositions at Venture Commercial, supports the valuation, underwriting, structuring and compilation of due diligence materials for all acquisitions and sales for both Venture Investment Partners and the Venture Investment Sales team.
As Vice President of Acquisitions & Dispositions for Venture Investment Partners, Josh participates in all aspects of targeting and underwriting new acquisitions, and the structuring and placement of debt and equity. Josh also performs ongoing asset management duties including leasing strategy, debt and equity reporting and, ultimately, disposition analysis and execution.
Josh’s focus on the Investment Sales team is the underwriting and valuation of current income producing properties. Josh provides potential buyers and sellers with forecasts for their property and future returns. He also assists in providing capital markets guidance as it relates to debt and equity. In addition, he conducts market research and prepares the financial aspects of the team’s offering memorandums.
Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Josh began his career in structured finance for an auto lending firm, Exeter Finance Corp. His main focus was the structuring and execution of asset backed securitizations and funding of the business’s operations through a conduit credit facility. He later moved to Goldman Sachs with a similar focus in the residential mortgage sector of structured finance and portfolio management.
