Bio
Joe Parsons is a Managing Director and leads Asset Management for the US Investment arm of Greystar. Joe is responsible for the asset management of domestic owned assets the conventional multifamily, active adult, and student housing sectors. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for the company’s acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions throughout the Central and Mid-Atlantic regions. Joe also previously served as a Director of Portfolio Management, covering the company’s discretionary value-add fund platform.
Before joining Greystar in 2014, Joe worked for USAA Real Estate Company, the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, and KeyBank Real Estate Capital in each firm's respective investment groups. He is actively involved with the National Multifamily Housing Council, the Urban Land Institute, and the CFA Institute, where he is a charter holder.
Joe received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and received his Master’s of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
