Since joining CBRE’s downtown Chicago office, Mr. Rutman has achieved great success structuring and negotiating corporate real estate transactions. His local market knowledge, background in Financial, Process and Strategy Consulting, allows him to structure Lease transactions that support the high-level strategic goals of the organization, while also meeting its financial objectives. It is this ability of being able to translate the complex nature of a corporation's real estate needs that secured him CBRE's prestigious "Associate of the Year" early in his career.
Last year, he successfully represented numerous tenants, in both national and local markets, in industries such as Finance, Law, Professional Services, and Not-For-Profits. Specifically, Mr. Rutman has experience advising clients on matters ranging from strategy development, accommodating growth via expansion, renegotiations with existing Landlords, corporate relocations and dispositions.
Along with his national successes in the corporate world, Mr. Rutman remains connected with the local philanthropic community by having been elected to significant leadership positions with the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, which provides critical resources to people of all faiths in Chicago and around the world, and to the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, which provides business advocacy and works to ensure the economic development of the State of Illinois.
When he is not in the office or attending a board meeting, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters at their home in Lincoln Park.
