Bio
John is a Manager in the Capital Markets group at RangeWater Real Estate. In this role, John sources equity, negotiates JV documents, and sources construction debt on ground-up developments.
Prior to joining the team in 2022, he was with CBRE’s Debt and Structured Finance Group for six years. Within this capacity, he was responsible for the underwriting, marketing, due diligence, and closing of debt and equity transactions for commercial real estate. During his tenure at CBRE, he was involved in more than $3 billion in transactions across all major real estate asset categories.
Prior to CBRE, John received his MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, where he was co-president of the Real Estate Club. Before graduate school, John worked in various roles at State Bank & Trust Company, in both the Commercial Real Estate Financing Group and Special Assets Division.
John graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He lives in Atlanta, GA, and enjoys live music, golf, and attending UGA football games.
