John Scott is not like most Realtors. He has over 40 years of experience. Real estate is his chosen profession. John Scott has a degree in Real Estate and Office Management. He worked in real estate while in college. Once graduating from the University of Kentucky, he entered real estate as a career and that is the only career he has ever known.
John Scott is a local boy growing up in Lexington. He is a true Lexingtonian. John Scott knows the wonderful Bluegrass lifestyle and traditions. He has raised his two daughters, Avery and Elliott. Avery graduated from Belmont University in Nashville and now works for The Frye Boot Co. in New York City. Elliott graduated from Belmont University with both Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in teaching.
John Scott is an avid rider and fox hunter. He adopted his Thoroughbred “Chant” which is an off the racetrack Thoroughbred. John Scott is an active member and President of The Iroquois Hunt Club with his colors and also has his colors with The Woodford Hounds. John Scott also enjoys playing adult outdoor soccer. He started playing soccer after many years of coaching youth soccer 'LYSA.” He felt like if he was asking kids to do something, he should be able to do it also.
John Scott's experience runs from resale of older homes to new construction. John Scott marketed Ball Homes, a local builder for over 15 years, helping them to become one of the Top 100 builders in the nation, and raising their sales from 75 to over 700 sales per year. John Scott also knows resale and older homes, with a vast knowledge of Lexington neighborhoods and values. He is passionate about real estate and is an expert negotiator. He is a devoted advocate and real estate friend and consultant to clients purchasing and selling properties in all price ranges. Buyers and sellers always know their options. John Scott credits his success to understanding that a real estate transaction is one of the largest expenditures a person makes and he knows the importance of service and professionalism.
