Bio
Amidst major consolidation in the industry, John Pomer identified a void in the marketplace for a leading, principal-based entrepreneurial commercial real estate firm. In response, he co-found Redwood West (RW) after working for several nationally recognized commercial real estate firms for over 11 years. He prides himself in creating real value and providing exceptional customer service. Prior to co-founding RW, John served as Managing Director at Stream Realty Partners where he was in charge of expanding the user representation services and investment sales in Southern California. Before that, he was Managing Director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank where he handled national accounts in user representation and sale/disposition of properties for large corporations and court-appointed trustees (which included the FDIC). Prior to Newmark, John worked at Grubb & Ellis as a Vice President & Managing Director where he also handled user representation and national accounts. He is also LEED AP certified and graduated from Cal State University Long Beach with his BBA in Finance and a Minor in Real Estate and Law.
