Steve, a Lexington native is a client-focused Broker with over 30 years of real estate experience. Since obtaining his bachelor’s degree in real estate and business his complete career concentration has been on assisting his clients in the sale and purchase of real estate in central Kentucky.
Steve maintains his success by staying on top of industry developments, using the latest technology, and most importantly, drawing from his previous experience. Starting his professional career at age 22 Steve has seen a lot of changes in the real estate world. He knows the local ins and outs of the area, the neighborhoods, the builders, the history, and trends. Just as important has been his empathy with his clients, his listening skills and desire for the smoothest and least complex transactions for his clients.
Steve's long relationship with relocation companies has benefited many families transitioning in and out of the area. He assists the region’s employers in recruiting new employees by emphasizing the benefits and lifestyle of central Kentucky. Steve has one of longest agent/builder relationships (18 years) representing 2 notable Lexington home builders. His keen interest in architecture and local history adds to his enjoyment collaborating with clients who have or want homes in older neighborhoods.
Steve joined the Sotheby's Firm after 25+ years with the largest broker in central Kentucky. Steve feels that being with the smaller Sotheby's firm can benefit his buyer clients, exposing them to a larger base of inventory and his seller clients with the expanded avenues of marketing their property world-wide.
Steve is well respected by his colleagues, and he has a vast professional peer network which has proven eminently beneficial to his clients.
