John Mauk joined Butler Properties & Development in 2014 as the Director of Marketing & Research. In 2016, John transitioned to a new role as a Development Associate. He is responsible for sourcing new development opportunities, site selection, market analysis, and due diligence for the company. He graduated with a dual degree in Real Estate and Insurance & Risk Management from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. John is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Atlanta AYREP. He lives in the Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, GA with his wife, Kerry, and their two dogs.
