John began his commercial real estate career in 1981, immediately following his graduation from Santa Clara University. With 35 years of highly productive "Client Centric" commercial real estate experience, John is a well-recognized industry veteran known for his results-oriented & creative approach to delivering strategic commercial real estate solutions throughout the Western U.S. on behalf of his Corporate, Institutional & Private Capital Clients. John and his Silicon Valley based Colliers team have built a proven multi-state Corporate Client tenant representation services platform, with an established network of Colliers Partners in key submarkets, which provides turn-key tenant representation services, including site acquisition/disposition, needs assessment, location analytics, strategic planning & transaction/portfolio management services with an emphasis on providing e-commerce driven logistics, manufacturing & distribution facility solutions. Since joining Colliers International’s San Jose office in November 2002, John has leased or sold over 7.5 million square feet of industrial/commercial space and over 100 acres of land for development with an aggregate value in excess of $1B on behalf of his current clients including; Express Messenger Systems, Inc dba OnTrac, Home Depot, General Motors, CVS/Pharmacy, Century/Cinemark Theaters, PNC Realty Investors, Riverview Systems Group, OTO Development and Hensel Phelps Construction Co. Accomplishments Professional: 2002-2016 Consistent Colliers producer and Platinum Award recipient; 2012 & 2016 Colliers Million Dollar Producer Club; 2012 & 2016 Colliers Everest Award recipient (top 10% of Colliers brokers nationally); 2008 National Investment Sale of the Year Award. Personal: A former “walk-on” point guard at Santa Clara University, John lettered in basketball at SCU in 1979-1981, earned a full athletic scholarship and was elected Team Captain and Most Inspirational Player his senior year; A basketball fanatic at heart, John enjoys coaching and rooting for the World Champion Golden State Warriors; John and his wife Lisa have 3 children and reside in San Jose.
