John's involvement in the Birmingham office market spans 20 years during which time he has overseen over 1.5 million sq ft of office leasing in Central Birmingham and around 3 million sq ft across the wider Midlands region. John has advised UK institutions, overseas investors, property companies, landowners, developers and occupiers.
Prior to establishing GBR in 2003, John was in charge of Jones Lang LaSalle's Birmingham Office and was head of Agency for Richard Ellis' Birmingham office.
John has built a reputation for advising on complex developments such as Brindley Place and securing high-profile transactions such as the Highways Agency letting at The Cube - helping his team to secure a string of awards including the 2009 Property Week Midlands Office Agency team of the year.
John is a founding member of The Birmingham Office Market Forum. He is a high profile personality within the Birmingham property market and frequent commentator on matters which affect Birmingham's development.
