Bio
John, being a fifth generation native to Southern Oregon, he has a deep connection to the local area. Originally from a ranching background, John is no stranger to hard work. John left the area for a short time to get his bachelor’s in science from Western Washington University which ultimately stretched, and prepared him for the real estate industry to come. During those college years, he started and ran his own successful painting company to pay for college. His first and only corporate job followed graduation where he helped manage Target stores in the Northwest. During that seven year stint, John learned a lot about management and began flipping properties on the side.
After college he found that Southern Oregon was still close to his heart and he decided to come back to the Rogue Valley to raise a family with his wife Tami. Being back in their home state, their appreciation for all that Southern Oregon has to offer was much greater than before. Coming back to the area they recognized and were pleased with some changes in culture, development, and entertainment that had begun to take place.
Today, they are not just well known as top brokers in the Rogue Valley, they are also very actively involved in their neighborhood and passionate supporters for children and families who need a hand in life. Currently, John serves on the board of directors for a local non-profit that helps families in need with better housing. They have two children who are both attending local schools and are very involved with community activities. As a family they enjoy many outdoor activities such as camping, boating & hiking.
