Ellis Realty founded in 1950. John C Ellis III, CCIM, age 61, is Broker/Owner. His professional real estate career begain in 1976 and gained his CCIM designation in 1984. Experienced in Multi-family, mixed use development, casino, hospitality, entertainment, office, restaurant & bars, and Retail Centers. Mr Ellis was Managing Partner/Owner of Realty Management Company which owned and operated some 6,500 units of multi-family properties, office buildings, medical building, shopping centers, and development land holdings. He is currently a partner in "The Blind Tiger" restaurant operations and is responsible for site selection/acquisitions/analysis for this expanding F&B business chain. He has represented financial institutions and government agencies with real estate services, including asset consulting. Mr. Ellis is also owner/developer for a large scale destination resort "Blue Water Bay" on the Bay of St. Louis, Harrison County, MS. This development is waterfront, involves mixed uses, including approved casino gaming and entertainment venues and lodging. The projected cost for Blue Water Bay is $800M.
