John had a 25-year career in Civil Engineering and Construction Management before moving into the Real Estate profession. He was inspired by his desire to work for himself and assist people with their real estate needs. Over those years, he completed many real estate and appraisal courses in continuing education, so when the time came, the transition was seamless. In 2014, he wrote his first listing during his first week and closed nearly $1 million in transactions in 6 months to earn the Gazelle Award for the quickest start at the largest real estate company in The Upstate.
Currently, John is carrying over a dozen listings and concentrates on finding the perfect home, regardless of how unique as well as locating land for buyers and marketing land for sellers. For fourteen years he managed roadway assets for Greenville County, thus has a working knowledge of every area in Greenville County. As a part-time QA inspector for new homes and former estimator and regulatory specialist for new homes and commercial buildings, his expertise can be invaluable for clients seeking to build, renovate, purchase, or sell a home as well as small commercial properties.
John has been a full-time Realtor since 2014. He is married to a local educator and has one daughter. He is a native of Greenville and finished Florida A&M University with a BS in Architectural Eng. Technology and Clemson/USC with an MS in Public Administration.
