John Conrad joins SVN Commercial Specialists as an Associate Advisor. John’s background in land development is a great asset for SVN Commercial Specialists, as they have grown to be one of the premier listing companies in Winchester and surrounding markets. John’s experience in the building and development arena was a welcome addition to the Winchester SVN team. John led the firm of Miller and Smith LLC, Vienna, Virginia for 18 years as Vice President of Development. John directed a team of professionals that specialized in land acquisitions, entitlements, land sales and the development of residential and commercial communities in Virginia and Maryland. Prior to joining the SVN team, John spent four years operating Conrad Development Company helping clients grow through John’s vast experience in building and development in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
John spent his youth growing up in Washington, D.C. John moved to Virginia in 1976, where he called Fairfax Station home, but moved to Winchester in 2007. John is active in the community, with leadership roles in such associations as Kiwanis and Top of Virginia Builders Association, Chairing the Legislative Committee for many years.
John will continue to advise SVN clients within his specialty of the sale and purchase of development land with an added interest in leasing and tenant representation.
