Bio
John joined V/T Commercial in 2017 and became a partner in 2021. Previous to joining V/T, he had focused on business brokering with Vermont Business Brokers for a number of years. Growing up in Charlotte, VT he brings a deep knowledge of Chittenden County and the surrounding area.
In recent years, John has been focused on marketing industrial space, transacting well over 200,000 SF of warehouse, manufacturing, or flex space over recent years. He has also been busy in Washington County mountain towns including Stowe and the Mad River Valley with both sale and lease transactions.
John brings a thorough understanding of business acquisitions to the V/T team. Following his father’s 25+ years in business brokering, John has been involved with VBB since the early 2000’s and joined full time in 2014. Significant experience with business valuation, deal structure, marketing, and confidentiality are the cornerstones of John’s success with buyers and sellers of Vermont businesses.
Beal graduated with a B.S. from St. Lawrence University (HERE WE GO SAINTS) in 2006. He is an avid skier, sailor, mountain biker, golfer, and enjoys spending free time getting outside with his family and friends. John is kept busy by his beautiful wife and two young children.
