Joseph Villanueva, CCIM, CPM, is responsible for guiding the sales and leasing efforts of Villa Nueva Properties Commercial Real Estate office located in Salinas, California. As the Managing Director of the Monterey Peninsula office, Joseph is responsible for the successful integration of all services for the benefit of his clients. His main focus is ensuring that all VNP Commercial clients receive the highest level of service. Joseph utilizes all resources within the VNP Commercial platform to assist clients in meeting and exceeding the objectives they have set for their real estate portfolios.

In 2003, Joseph began his real estate career as a realtor and property manager with Intero Real Estate Services, now a Berkshire Hathaway company, in Monterey, California. In 2005, Joseph was a portfolio asset manager for The John Stewart Company and MidPen Housing - two of the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest real estate developers of multi-family and mixed-use properties. In 2012, Joseph founded V-Commercial Group, a full-service commercial real estate firm specializing in sales, leasing, and asset/property management of industrial, office, retail, medical, land, and multi-family properties. In 2016, V-Commercial Group became The Villa Nueva Group and strategically aligned with Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates to lead the Northern California-San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley and surrounding regions including Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties.
Joseph holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the Forbes School of Business and Technology at the University of Arizona. Additionally, Joseph has earned two of commercial real estate's most prestigious designations; the highly coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) pin through the CCIM Institute and the CPM (Certified Property Manger) through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Joseph is a licensed Real Estate Broker by the California Department of Real Estate.
Joseph is a 4th generation Californian and a deep-rooted 3rd generation resident of the Salinas Valley and Monterey Peninsula. Joseph lives in Salinas with his wife Angela and their six (6) children. In his spare time, Joseph enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fishing, camping, weight lifting, biking, and reading books.
