Joe grew up in Virginia and attended college in Tennessee. In 1972, he graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.A. in Industrial Management and Technology. After graduation, Joe did not pursue the degree that he received but instead he began a career with a large clothing company as a sales representative in Washington D.C/Richmond, VA. Later (1974) with the same company, they transferred him to Orlando, Florida. In 1988, again he was being transferred to a more profitable sales area, Los Angeles. At that point, 29 years ago, Joe decided to keep his family in Florida and start a new career in real estate sales. Joe has not looked back and for 24 years has been in the Top 1% in real estate sales nationwide.
