The name Jimmie Taylor is synonymous with real estate in Fort Smith. Jimmie Taylor, Sr began the company in the early 1950 s and it has remained strong throughout the years. Jimmie literally grew up in the real estate business mowing lawns and putting roofs on homes were his summer jobs. After graduating from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Real Estate and serving in the army as a first lieutenant in the infantry in the Viet Nam war, he came home to his roots real estate in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Jimmie continued to increase his knowledge of his profession through securing his designation as an industrial specialist with the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS, the most prestigious group of REALTORS in the world. He is past president of the Arkansas chapter of the SIOR. He has served his community, profession, church, and family with diligence and honor.
Jimmie helped to bring Owens Corning to Ft Smith and has assisted in locating other industries and businesses to our area. Jimmie was the leader in the commercial development of Rogers Avenue locating the Wal-Mart Super Center and Sam' s Club to this location. Jimmie has put numerous investment groups together to invest in the growth and opportunities that real estate holds for the Fort Smith area. Jimmie's client list is extensive and growing. Jimmie s expertise in the Fort Smith metro area's real estate market is unmatched. He holds a license in Arkansas.
