Born, raised, and worked in Lane County, Oregon. Attended Oregon State University, University of Oregon, and graduated from Northwest Christian University. Working experience includes manufacturing management, government affairs consulting, and Real Estate. Jim and his wife have lived in Elmira, OR for the past 38 years and presently living with them is their yellow lab (Roscoe), tom cat (Bigfoot) and 8 chickens. Recreation involves gardening and water sports in the beautiful state of Oregon.
