As founder and principal broker at NetWorks Commercial Real Estate, a national firm headquartered in Richmond, VA. Jim specializes in investment properties, office buildings, shopping centers and industrial development opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic and has over 40 years of corporate, development, syndication, brokerage and consulting experience. He is an active licensed broker in Virginia since 1990. Jim brings focus to client objectives and assignments that has been described as relentless in pursuit of one thing – RESULTS.
Widely respected for developing investment strategies that identify exit alternatives prior to acquisition, Jim is known for his careful underwriting of properties prior to taking them to the market. Jim has served as Governor appointed member of the Virginia State Senate Storm Water Management Subcommittee (SJR44) representing the Virginia real estate development industry. He holds the distinguished Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. In 2004 & 2006, he received the “Most Significant Transaction” award from the Virginia CCIM Chapter and in 2007 he received the CCIM Partners “National Most Significant Transaction” award.
A graduate of the California State University, Fresno, Jim served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Russian linguist and was trained at the Defense Language Institute, Monterey, California.
