James (Jim) Farrer joined the Philadelphia office of Cushman & Wakefield of Pennsylvania, LLC. in July 2018 as a Director in the Valuation & Advisory Financial Reporting Practice. Jim has over 7 years of experience preparing valuations of tangible and intangible assets for financial reporting and tax reporting purposes and over 12 years of direct real estate experience. His real estate experience includes valuation of various commercial property types including: low-rise and high-rise offices, manufacturing and distribution facilities, hotels, destination resorts, regional malls, neighborhood retail, retail and mixed-use developments, multifamily, master planned communities, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, undeveloped land, and special use properties such as marinas, golf courses, and municipal/public buildings. Other valuation experience also includes real estate valuation, highest and best use studies, market demand and financial feasibility studies, valuation of water and air rights, valuation of right of ways, eminent domain valuations, and estimation of damages. He has completed real estate assignments on a domestic and international level including valuations throughout the US, Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Clients served include lending institutions, insurance companies, pension fund advisors, REITs, government agencies, developers, Fortune 500 companies, lawyers, accountants, and investors.
