In 2004, Jim began a photography and marketing firm supplying advertising solutions to primarily large residential and commercial developers. Now, as a full-time real estate broker, he uses those same skills for his clients. Jim started his career with a focus on being the local expert in all things construction, development, and luxury. This evolved into him representing a single client for two years, one of the top luxury mountain communities in Western North Carolina. This experience was career-changing and grew his appetite for the "big picture" deals that take his responsibilities beyond standard residential transactions. Commercial real estate was the obvious place for him to land as a long-term career.
He often uses the word “Partner” in describing his relationship with clients. Jim is proud to do business from an approach of looking at his clients as business partners rather than transactions with dollar signs. His goal is to always work with clients from a long-term partnership approach to serve their best interests without question or influence from personal financial motivation. Communication is key from start to finish of any transaction, and he makes himself available at all times. He is never too proud to bring on an additional broker with more experience in a specific situation should it be a benefit.
Beyond the transaction side of this business, Jim invites all of his clients to utilize his market knowledge even when they are not actively looking to buy, sell, or lease. A decision to sell or acquire real estate is often contemplated months or years ahead of partnering with a broker.
