Bio
In April 2011, Jillian Bailey joined Jacobson Realty and Lynn Osslund forming a broker team handling agricultural, commercial and residential sales. Since that time, many properties have been sold including the foreclosed Jackson and Perkins Nursery Facility owned by Wells Fargo then later, the foreclosed Coast Nursery Facility owned by Farm Credit West. Various sales have included strawberry ground in the Oxnard Plain, row crop land, avocado and lemon orchards throughout the county, commercial leasing and sales.
For over three decades, Jill has built her career with hard work, a wealth of experience and a focused path where ethics, fair dealing and dependability are the keys to her success. Jill began her career in 1981 as a licensed sales associate with the International Real Estate Network in the Ojai Valley focusing on ranches and land. At the same time, she and her husband had a dream to own a ranch and actively pursued acquiring property as young investors. The first purchase was 80 acres in the Rose Valley which was later sold to the U.S. Government/Los Padre National Forest, part interest in 290 Acres in the Sisar Canyon and 20 acres with a mineral hot spring in Matilija Canyon. During this same time, other properties were pursued that had issues with easements, title and access problems. This firsthand experience helped to create a foundation of knowledge, good judgement and problem solving skills that are still in place today.
After personally acquiring rental properties in Ventura and the Ojai Valley, she obtained her broker’s license in 1988 and started Select Property Management. Later joining Oak Tree Property Management in Ventura with 250 residential properties under her management. In 1997 she joined the Remax team in Ojai and then continued as an independent broker until joining Jacobson Realty.
A Ventura County resident since 1967.
