Jerry Igra is an executive vice president in the Global Corporate Services division of Newmark. During his 32-year career in commercial real estate, Jerry has completed more than 750 transactions, totaling in excess of 6.0 million square feet. Experienced in both leasing and sales, Jerry has a thorough understanding of the factors affecting real estate transactions. Among the real estate assignments he has completed on behalf of clients are tenant relocations, lease renewals, lease restructuring, lease buyouts, subleases, multi-market account management, international representation, strategic planning, agency leasing, investment sales, sale-leasebacks, land sales, build-to-suit evaluations, equity lease negotiations, appraisals and development analysis. Jerry has successfully completed assignments for corporate headquarters, law offices, data centers, telecommunications switches, regional offices, back office operations, call centers, professional firms and medical offices. Additionally, he has sold properties on behalf of investors and tenants.
Jerry earned his LEED accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council, signifying expertise in environmentally sustainable practices. He has taught a lease negotiation course to attorneys as part of the continuing education program of the State Bar of California. He has also been a speaker at several national real estate events. A winner of numerous local and national awards during his career, Mr. Igra has been named a Top Producer 18 times and has received several service excellence acknowledgements.
