Jeff is a member in the Firm’s Tax, Real Estate and Business Law Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on advising clients in real estate and business transactions as well as tax planning strategies. Jeff advises, counsels and represents regional and national real estate companies in acquiring, financing, leasing and sales. He represents local and national lenders in commercial lending transactions. Jeff represents landlords and tenants in negotiating and drafting retail leases, including ground leases and major tenant leasing for shopping centers and other commercial developments. He provides counsel on business and real estate transactions; financing; private/preferred equity investments; leasing; growth planning; and analysis and planning for numerous federal income tax issues. In addition, Jeff guides and provides counsel to a wide range of entrepreneurial individuals, real estate developers and emerging businesses, assisting them throughout their growth in strategic planning, tax planning and deal structuring. Jeff has appealed many real estate property tax assessments for clients.
Jeff provides counsel to a wide variety of clients including national and local real estate developers, emerging businesses, venture capital funds, health care facilities, medical supply companies, banks and mortgage brokerage companies. Jeff has assisted and provided counsel to companies through successful acquisition and development processes.
