Bio
Jeff Scheidegger joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2017 and currently serves as a Senior Transaction Manager for the company's Portfolio Services Center (PSC) in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Scheidegger has worked directly with several key PSC client relationships during his time at Cushman & Wakefield, including handling the direct oversight and implementation of his client's respective transaction management programs. This oversight has included extensive site selection evaluations, recruiting, developing and maintaining broker relationships, direct transaction negotiation with outside parties and working with his clients' Strategy and Operations partners to execute on their requirements.
These duties have been consistent across Jeff’s many clients at Cushman & Wakefield, including his time supporting 7-Eleven, AutoZone and SBH Holdings. For these clients Jeff has performed extensive site evaluation and market research to ensure the transaction teams delivered quality locations, leveraged market data to maximize value in negotiations, utilized real time data for optimal reporting and adhered to the client’s execution strategy for their real property portfolios.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Jeff was a Domestic Regional Real Estate and Portfolio Manager for Payless ShoeSource, a privately held company (at the time) with over 4,000 locations globally and nearly $3 billion in sales. During this tenure, Jeff participated in preparing comprehensive real estate development plans for over 50% of the top 100 domestic markets with a solid track record of site selection, transaction due diligence, negotiation, and construction/project management. While at Payless ShoeSource, Mr. Scheidegger also managed the excess space disposition program for the company. Through this program, he was part of a team that eliminated excess space within the portfolio over a 2- year period and reduced operating expenses by over $3M.
