Jed’s corporate career began at one of the Big Four consulting houses, Andersen Consulting, where she achieved the highest score of any candidate in the history of their company in their battery of admissions tests. She went on to lead teams that consulted for governments and corporations globally, addressing large-scale complex Business Process, Change Transition and Mergers and Acquisitions projects. Jed’s unusual success was due to something that differentiated her in her field , she is a Polymath, and so she excels across a range of areas. She distinguished herself as a leader who was exceptional at executing solutions rather than someone who was solely gifted at analysing problems.
Clients recognised this ability and her skills at negotiating high-stakes projects and mobilising change led to an increased demand for her Executive Coaching and Management Training. She worked with high profile and high achieving individuals and teams developing innovative solutions to support them in quickly overcoming often life-long internal and systemic obstacles. She went on to train in the US equivalent of Clinical Psychology focusing on the distinctive and under-researched area of high IQ Psychology.
Jed’s interest in the Real Estate asset class developed throughout this period as she managed large Real Estate portfolio transactions and detailed merger, expansion and business re-structuring projects involving Real Estate portfolios and Real Estate development projects. During her time as a Graduate student at Harvard Jed specialised in Real Estate Investment and Real Estate Investment Finance , becoming an expert in her field and honing her market analysis skills.
