Jeanette Yates is an accomplished real estate broker with an extensive 32-year career in the industry. She's been through six corporate relocations due to her husband's job, so she knows a thing or two about moving. She would get a new job with each move, including professions such as banking, administrative and schools. She yearned for a profession that would compensate for her work ethic and the hours she put in. When they relocated to Tampa, Jeanette decided to take the leap of faith and pursue real estate. Within 6 months she learned the ropes and felt comfortable driving potential buyers around her new city of Tampa. Within 3 years, she was among the company’s top salespeople, and after 8 years purchased the company. She owned the company for 26 years before joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group, where she is now the Market President and Managing Broker of the Busch Blvd. and Tampa Palms locations.
She has known Dewey Mitchell and Allen Crumbley, Broker/Owners of Florida Properties Group, for 25 years, and she has always respected them as individuals and how they managed their firm. She is a team player who believes in and supports the company's mission.

Jeanette is married to her husband, Carl, and they have two children together. They now have five grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with! The Yates' home is a popular destination for fun in the sun, with a pool and lake that invites family gatherings. Jeanette and Carl are an adventurous pair who love to travel. They don't have a destination in mind when they hit the road; it's just their favorite activity to go along with the flow and see where the open road takes them. The most memorable journey took them to the east coast of Florida on the Outer Banks, where they almost stayed in their vehicle because there was no vacancy at every hotel and motel in the region! Along with road trips, they are a traveling duo who have been across the pond to countries such as Scotland, Ireland, England, Italy and Germany. They adore visiting the Caribbean islands as well.
