J.B. Baldwin was born and raised in Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida. He is a licensed real estate associate and also a partner in Baldwin-Howell Properties. Baldwin grew up around the real estate and self-storage business but began his career in banking, where he worked as a commercial lender and mortgage banker for 6 years before coming to work with Baldwin-Howell Properties in 2014. Since joining Baldwin-Howell, Baldwin’s focus has been on overseeing the acquisition, development, and financing of new properties into the Baldwin-Howell portfolio, with a focus on self-storage development. In addition to self-storage properties, Baldwin has overseen the development of a high-end waterfront subdivision on Anna Maria Island and manages all of the financing for Baldwin-Howell’s real estate holdings.
