Jay Emmert and his wife Nancy founded the Coldwell Banker offices in the Chequamegon Bay area in 2001. In 2006, Jay's offices were named the Number One office in total units sold for the State of Wisconsin for its office category. Jay and his wife Nancy then sold his offices in 2006. Jay was the Broker Manager for Coldwell Banker East West Realty offices in Ashland and Washburn, Wisconsin. He has now concentrated his efforts on listing and selling real estate in Northern Wisconsin. Again in 2014, Jay was the Top Agent in Ashland and Bayfield Counties and was also the Top Agent in the State of Wisconsin for Coldwell Banker with listings sold. In April 2021, CB East West Realty sold their business to Coldwell Banker Realty. Jay is now a Broker Agent with Coldwell Banker Realty. Jay specializes in representing his clients' real estate needs in lake property, vacant land, single family homes, and commercial properties within the cities of Ashland, Washburn, Bayfield, Iron River, Herbster, Cornucopia, Port Wing, Marengo, Highbridge and Mason areas. Jay has lived in Ashland, WI area for 40 years. His 20 years of construction trade experience has helped hundreds of buyers and sellers follow his experience into the real estate profession and continue to grow his business with repeat and referral buyers and sellers looking for real estate services. Jay and his wife Nancy have two children, three grandchildren, and a list of animals on their hobby farm. They all truly enjoy the outdoors and that is why they would never want to live anywhere else but on Lake Superior shores of Northern Wisconsin. Jay is an active member of the Ashland Kiwanis, past Ashland School Board, Elks Club, Salem Church, and actively involved with the Bay Area Youth Network.
