Bio
Jason Kon is a Senior Managing Director for Newmark, acquired in December 2014 by BGC Partners, Inc. and now a part of Newmark.
Located in Newmark’s Charlotte Office, Kon is responsible for multifamily brokerage and advisory services throughout the Carolinas. He focuses on the disposition of multifamily assets, client development, pricing strategies, as well as the negotiation and closing of transactions. Kon has led or been meaningfully involved in more than $8 billion in multifamily brokerage sales since 2014.
Prior to joining the Carolinas brokerage team, Kon served as a Senior Analyst and Transaction Manager for Newmark where he underwrote more than $12 billion in multifamily assets and assisted Newmark brokers in the sales process.
Before joining Newmark, Kon worked for PRG Real Estate Management in their Manager-In-Training program where he gained experience in all aspects of apartment operations.
