Mr. Hisey has worked in the affordable housing market as a developer, project manager and property manager for the past 15 years. He is currently in the Office Leasing and Investment Properties Division. He has served as director of real estate for one of Tucson's largest behavioral health providers where he managed all residential and commercial space, along with all property management, trade, and acquisition. Jason has also worked within the behavioral health field as an Environment of Care specialist, as well as in both recreation and educational settings as a coach and administrator. He is a former University of Arizona baseball player, class of 1991, who spent three years playing in the St. Louis Cardinal organization as a pitcher.
Mr. Hisey has assisted in the acquisition of financing for multiple projects using Low Income Housing Tax Credits, State-County-City HOME Funds, Community Development Block Grants, Arizona Housing Trust Fund, AHP, and Conventional Loans. From initial land acquisition, through due diligence and culminating with construction completion, Mr. Hisey has assisted in the development of multiple affordable housing projects, totaling over 1,000 units.
In addition, Jason has supervised major and minor office renovations along with working with architects and builders in multiple design-build settings. His expertise extends to the management of all types of property, including residential, where he has handled the origination of leases, collection of rents, processing of evictions, and supervision of maintenance and rehabilitation.
