Jason is President of Heller Industrial Parks, Inc., one of the largest privately-held industrial park owner/developers in the U.S, which currently owns, leases and manages 15.5 million square feet of strategically located distribution centers in five states, with 170 acres of prime land slated for future development.
Previously, Jason enjoyed a 20-year tenure as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Macklowe Properties/William Macklowe Company, among the largest and most successful privately-owned real estate development companies in New York City, with a portfolio of commercial and residential properties aggregating up to 12 million square feet and valued in excess of $10 billion.
These roles included a direct participation in the strategic deal making process, management of the day-to-day operations of the development and management companies and oversight of legal matters of the highest sophistication.
Jason also has ten years of experience as a real estate attorney with well-known, highly regarded, national and multi-national law firms. He spent time drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of real estate, joint venture and real estate fund documentation, as well as managing real estate transactions from inception to closing.
