Companywide top producer in 2021 and 2022, Jan Carroll has been helping people buy and sell country property since 2010. A lifelong equestrian and lover of all things rural—she never tires of looking at beautiful Texas land. Jan and her husband have owned numerous farms and ranches in Washington, Austin and Fayette counties. She is well versed in the intricacies of all rural real estate markets from large ranch sales to the buying and selling of small historical homes in town.
Jan brings to real estate a unique and varied set of skills. She attended Texas A&M University and has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston. Her background as a psychotherapist and staff development consultant makes her uniquely suited to the ups and downs of buying and selling real estate. She is a good listener, loves people and is always focused on the importance of relationships when it comes to real estate. She is levelheaded and enjoys the process--from looking for the perfect property to negotiating to closing. All in all, she feels that buying and selling country property should be an enjoyable process.
Jan also has a talent for restoration and design. She and her husband have restored and lived in several historic Texas farmhouses. Her current home dates back to 1850. She is passionate about the restoration process and loves to rescue old farmhouses and bring them back to their original glory with a distinctively modern touch. Her clients really appreciate her experience and skill in this area.
