Jamil has been active in the commercial real estate industry since 1988. He dedicated the first 18 years of his career to exclusively representing office tenants, which enables him to bring a unique and valuable perspective to development projects. Since joining Endeavor and transitioning to development in 2006, Jamil’s work has included significant projects in Austin and Nashville. In Austin, these include The Bowie, a 36-story mixed-use development with 358 multifamily units, 41,000 SF of office space, and 3,884 SF of retail; IBC Bank Plaza, a 13-story, 194,749 SF, Class A office building; and 91–93 Red River, a 30-story mixed-use project with 347 multifamily units, 78,682 SF of office space, and 10,403 SF of retail. Jamil’s Nashville projects include 1222 Demonbreun, a 20-story, 324,254 SF, Class AA office building with 5,836 SF of retail space; and the 26-story 1200 Broadway project, a mixed-use development with 313 multifamily units, 65,000 SF of office space, a Whole Foods Market, and 5,000 SF of additional retail. Prior to joining Endeavor, Jamil was a Principal at Trammell Crow Company, where he was one of the company’s top producers nationwide in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004. In 2000, Jamil was the company’s third highest producing broker in the U.S. In 2002, he was elected by his peers nationwide to receive the Most Valuable Player award within the Corporate Advisory Services group, an honor that is presented to the individual that best exemplifies respect, integrity, service and excellence in the profession. While at Trammell Crow, Jamil developed The Shore, a 22-story condominium development.
