If you are looking for a home in the mystery market of Davis, or if you want to sell your house now, call Jamie. She is a listener; she will hear and respect your wishes and together, she makes your dreams or needs happen in the best possible way.
Jamie grew up in Davis, attended Davis schools and graduated from UCD. She and her husband (a UCD professor) bought their first home in Village Homes and raised their children here. They have been building a bird habitat around their peaceful country home along Putah Creek, six miles west of Davis, for the past 20 years. They have observed over 120 bird species, with 40 of them nesting here.
Their son Matthias, a firefighter in Hilo, Hawaii, and his wife Lisa are the proud parents of their granddaughter Ella. Their son Miles recently graduated from Lewis & Clark College and resides in Portland, Oregon.
Jamie had the good fortune to work at Chez Panisse restaurant for several years where she learned to appreciate seasonal foods and good cooking. Now more than ever she really appreciates the incredible array of fresh, local, season foods that are available to us here in Davis. In the rare moment that she is not working on a real estate transaction, you can find her shopping at the farmers market or cooking up a meal to enjoy with friends. She belongs to their active Davis and Sacramento Slow Food conviviums.
Jamie is intensely concerned about preserving the peaceful, clean and safe environment of Yolo County. To put this concern to action, she serves as a board member of the Yolo Community Foundation (Link: www.yolocf.org) She is pleased to donate a portion of proceeds from each transaction to the foundation for funds that support local schools. In addition, Coldwell Banker Doug Arnold Real Estate has donated over $50,000 annually to support schools and community.
