Jamie Gentry joined Enterprise Advisory Group LLC (EAG) in 2010 and focuses on negotiating tax and business Incentives for businesses of all sizes with a special focus on sources of non-dilutive capital for emerging high tech and software development companies. Jamie has identified, negotiated and implemented tax credit and business incentive packages for numerous corporate and individual clients in the technology, software development, manufacturing, distribution, insurance, and e-commerce sectors. A diverse history of projects has enabled Jamie to work with all types of incentive programs including; Real and Personal Property Tax Abatements, Enterprise Zones and associated credits, Investment Tax Credits, State Job Creation Tax Credits, Local Job Creation Tax Credits, State Grant Programs, various Financing Programs, Training Programs, and Energy Efficient funding. Prior to joining EAG, Jamie developed a deep knowledge of the public sector serving in various economic development roles at the state and local level of government. During his tenure at the Ohio Department of Development, Jamie utilized all available state and local incentive programs in order to facilitate nearly $3 billion of new investment around the State of Ohio. Jamie also served as an industry specialist for the Ohio Department of Development focusing on Ohio’s agriculture industry as well as General Electric’s enormous Ohio presence. Jamie began his career on the local level serving as the Director of Economic Development for Fayette County overseeing all aspects of business development for Fayette County. Jamie earned a Masters in Business Administration from Ohio University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Wright State University. Jamie has also been certified by the International Economic Development Council in various areas of economic development such as marketing, attraction, and redevelopment. In addition to business consulting, Jamie is also the Chairman of the Grandview Heights Planning Commission.
